The Challenge
Pacific Smiles Group was struggling with limitations of existing third party vendor software solutions. While these systems were functional they were becoming increasingly expensive and inadequate for meeting the unique demands of their growing business. The existing booking systems not only created a financial burden but also lacked the flexibility and customisation options needed to optimise the booking experience for their expanding patient base.
Pacific Smiles Group was struggling with limitations of existing third party vendor software solutions. The Solution
We developed a suite of custom cloud applications that replaced their existing systems with a more streamlined, cost effective booking experience. The solution included a customer facing website and a booking widget that integrated seamlessly with their practice management software.

The project began with a comprehensive review of Pacific Smiles Group's existing user flows. Through careful analysis, we identified key friction points in the booking process that were causing patient frustration and operational inefficiencies.

Appointment scheduling, a critical function for dental services, required specialized features that generic booking systems couldn't efficiently provide.

Using the insights gained from our analysis, we outlined new user flows designed to reduce friction throughout the booking experience. The revised flows focused on:

👉 Providing clearer visibility of available time slots
👉 Reducing the number of steps required to complete a booking
👉 Adapting to different patient scenarios (new vs. returning patients)
